Should robots be used for personal servants, or should they be used for businesses, or in public?

Robots of all kinds are being created for different purposes and uses. Many are being used in hotels and restaurants. The question of using robots as personal servants has many people questioning whether or not robots are safe to have in our homes. Personally, I believe the robots we have currently won't be programmed to have emotions or have the ability to learn anything on its own, let alone have free will. I think, for now, we'll be just fine with robots in our homes, our businesses, and on the public streets.

But as time goes on, there will be upgrades, and robots will advance to be more human-like. Robots will be a great asset to assist those with disabilities such as the blind, those with arthritis, and those with other physical and mental conditions. Robots can do the cooking for you, clean the house, provide security, walk your dogs, and be a nanny to your children.

I believe the many good things robots can do for the community and the disabled outweigh the bad. I don't think there's a chance in hell a robot revolution will happen anytime soon. If and when robots become available for personal use, the price could be based on the model and capabilities of any robot someone wishes to purchase. Maybe one day, by 2030- 2040 robots will be affordable to everyone who wants one.
