Portl is a holographic device that you can use at home to talk to friends and family, or for telemedicine, entertainment, exercise, and shopping. This new technology will change how we live our daily lives. We already have holograms but those are mainly non-interactive toys or collector items. But this technology is something different--we can actually engage with the other party, in their holographic form, in near real-time.
I would love to have this device, sadly it’s only available through reservation. If and when it becomes available to the public it will probably be expensive. Portl will change how we perceive our reality.
